Position Overview
The Media Incentives team at Google oversees effective financial governance of Media Incentives programs. As a Finance Analyst, you will evaluate investment modeling scenarios and monitor key performance indicators that assist business leaders in making strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline, or hold equivalent hands-on experience.
- Have at least 7 years of expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a similar role, or hold an advanced degree.
- Demonstrate experience managing comprehensive FP&A duties including budgeting, forecasting, variance assessment, and financial modeling within a global company environment.
- Proficient in programming skills such as SQL.

- Experienced in crafting SQL queries and extracting data from relational database systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in unstructured, dynamic settings.
- Capable of planning and overseeing operations at both strategic and day-to-day levels.
- Skilled in building and maintaining strong interdisciplinary networks, influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude coupled with sound business judgment, enabling effective collaboration with senior management teams.
- Advanced spreadsheet proficiency, including developing financial dashboards and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical efforts and deliver insightful financial analyses supporting the management of volume-based Media Incentive programs focused on video growth.
- Utilize technical knowledge to conduct quantitative analyses concerning incentive initiatives, including evaluating return on investment and incrementality, in collaboration with various teams.
- Coordinate with Finance, Product, and partner departments to ensure strategic coherence, data reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Assist global regional Finance teams in designing incentive portfolios tailored to their specific business objectives.
- Contribute to product FP&A activities by forecasting the profit and loss effects of ongoing incentive schemes.

The U.S. salary range is $141,000 to $206,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus target, equity options, and comprehensive benefits.
