Field Sales Executive - Merchant Acquisition

1Fi is creating India's pioneer consumer financing platform supported by mutual fund holdings. Our aim is to empower consumers by offering affordable financing options through leveraging their current investments.

Role Summary

We are expanding our merchant network nationwide and require a Field Sales Executive to facilitate merchant onboarding and promote 1Fi adoption. This full-time, onsite position in Gurugram involves face-to-face engagement with business owners aimed at growing transaction volumes via our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential merchant partners through direct outreach, cold calls, and in-person visits.
• Engage business owners with a compelling pitch to convert them into active partners.
• Develop and sustain strong ongoing relationships with onboarded merchants.
• Educate merchants about the product to encourage customer usage.
• Monitor merchant sales performance and seek opportunities for growth.
• Maintain detailed daily activity logs including calls, visits, onboarding, and sales figures.

Requirements

• Experience of 1 to 3 years in field sales, merchant acquisition, business development, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Adept at cold calling and frequent merchant interactions.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel locally for meetings.
• Preferred background in fintech, payments, lending, point of sale, banking, or insurance sectors.

Compensation Details

The fixed monthly salary ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000, supplemented with incentives tied to merchant onboarding and sales success.

Location and Work Environment

The role is based onsite in Gurugram.
