Role Overview
The position of Field Collection Executive, also known as Collections Specialist, Debt Recovery Officer, or Portfolio Collection Manager, operates within the Collections Department. This role begins as a 3-month internship with stipend, transitioning to full-time employment contingent on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of approximately 100 to 120 active cases, particularly those with EMI installments greater than three.
- Conduct frequent home visits to customers for collection purposes, employing negotiation skills with empathy, respect, and patience.
- Handle all cash collections efficiently and ensure timely deposits at the branch within prescribed Turn Around Times (TAT).
- Consistently achieve and surpass monthly collection targets along with related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Plan daily travel routes strategically, prioritizing accounts with highest overdue status to optimize collection outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age limit for freshers: up to 25 years; for experienced candidates: up to 28 years.
- Minimum educational qualification is completion of 12th grade; graduation preferred.
- Preferred experience includes vehicle loans (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, or commercial vehicles) or microfinance (non-LAP/business loans).
- Ideal candidates come from NBFCs or automotive financing companies like IndusInd Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, or HDB Financial.
- Applicants must reside within 20 kilometers of the city center.
- Candidates with exclusive backgrounds in Bank Liability Sales (Credit Cards, CASA, Insurance), Loan Against Property (LAP), or business loans typically do not qualify.
Compensation and Benefits
- Fresher salary starts at ₹13,000 per month.
- Those with 1–2 years’ experience receive ₹14,000 monthly.
- Senior executives with 2–4 years’ experience may earn up to ₹16,000 per month.
- A fixed compliance allowance of ₹3,000 per month is granted upon meeting criteria: handling at least 70 collection cases, achieving 97% or higher collection efficiency, visiting all assigned cases by the 15th of each month, and maintaining less than seven employee ID freezes.
- Monthly incentives based on performance can reach 50% to 60% of the base salary.
Mandatory Compliance Requirements
- A financial background check (CIBIL) must be passed; profiles with poor scores or serious overdue accounts may be rejected.
- Police Verification Certificate (PVC) must be obtained prior to joining.
- Submission of an original blank cheque to the Head Office is essential to complete the onboarding process.
