Role Overview
This position sits within the Food & Beverage department in Singapore and reports to the Executive Chef as well as the Assistant Director of F&B. The successful candidate will act as a key administrator and coordinator for the Food & Beverage and Culinary Division, helping keep daily operations organized and running efficiently.
What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the F&B service and Culinary teams.
- Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related office tools to prepare and manage documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to keep F&B service and culinary communication current and aligned.
- Work with the hotel Purchasing Department on division purchasing needs.
- Compile monthly departmental reports, handle promotion transfers, and monitor promotions for F&B outlets.
- Create presentations and other materials requested by the Head of Department.
- Help carry out corporate policies, procedures, guidelines, traditions, and company initiatives.
- Join meetings when needed and record minutes.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Careful, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a busy environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to uphold strict standards of confidentiality, professionalism, ethics, personal grooming, and attitude.
