Job Overview
AUJLA BROS GREENHOUSES LTD is seeking to hire a Farm Worker specializing in fruit cultivation. The company has submitted a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and employment offers will be made upon its approval.
Work Environment
- Location: British Columbia, Canada, at the physical farm site (working remotely is not an option)
- Work primarily conducted outdoors
- Free parking available on site
Languages & Education
- English language proficiency required
- No formal degree, certificate, or diploma necessary
Experience & Training
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Harvest seedlings and mature crops
- Plant, nurture, and irrigate various crops
- Perform weeding tasks to maintain crop health
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Inspect produce to ensure quality and market readiness
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
- Involves repetitive manual tasks
- Handling heavy loads regularly
- Physically strenuous activities including bending, crouching, and kneeling
