Position Overview and Schedule
We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Order Puller at our Calhoun, GA facility. This full-time onsite role operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A hiring and retention bonus up to $1,000 is offered within the first year, with details shared during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully inspect completed carpet products for defects and inconsistencies using measuring tools and visual assessments adhering to quality standards.
- Report any substandard materials or products promptly to supervisors.
- Package approved products securely and neatly, ensuring accurate labeling per customer and internal instructions.
- Consistently follow safety and quality protocols during all tasks.
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet order deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work environment.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees in quality assurance and packaging practices as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, labels, and product specifications.
- Basic proficiency in math and computer skills for recordkeeping and labeling tasks.
- Capable of working independently and cooperatively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended durations.
- Willingness to cross-train in other related functions to support operational needs.
