Executive Vice President of Operations

Position Overview

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations serves on the senior leadership team, driving the development and implementation of the company's comprehensive operations strategy. This pivotal position oversees business operations, operational management, process improvement, resource allocation, and organizational performance to align with corporate objectives and promote sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company-wide operational strategy along with annual plans, ensuring it aligns with overall corporate goals.
• Establish and maintain an enterprise-level framework for operations management and governance.
• Manage day-to-day operational activities, promoting efficient execution of strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration among business units.
• Lead coordination across critical business areas such as sales, product, supply chain, customer service, and support unified process standards for continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance resource utilization.
• Build and maintain an operational performance management system including data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting tools to track and improve results.
• Strategically allocate resources to optimize personnel, budgets, and assets while controlling costs and maximizing ROI.
• Champion digital transformation by implementing digital tools such as ERP, CRM, BI, RPA, and AI to establish intelligent, automated operational platforms.
• Establish risk management and compliance frameworks to control operational risks, ensure business continuity, and implement internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Marketing, Product, R&D, Finance, HR, and Legal to drive key strategic projects and enhance organizational execution capability.
• Develop and nurture a high-performing operations team, including structuring the organization, managing leaders, implementing talent development and performance systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Management Science, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degrees like MBA or Master’s in Operations Management preferred.
• Over 25 years of experience in corporate operations or business management, including at least 15 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record establishing operational systems within large enterprises and managing multi-regional, multi-line business operations.
• Experience applying strategy execution and operations management across sectors such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, internet, or enterprise services is advantageous.
• Strong abilities in strategic planning, operational excellence, process optimization, data analysis, cost management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent skills in organizational change management, team building, and talent cultivation.
