Executive Vice President, Global Operations

Position Overview

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Operations is a pivotal member of the senior executive team, accountable for developing and executing comprehensive strategies across global operations. This position commands responsibility for key areas such as global business operations, supply chain management, manufacturing, project delivery, operational technology, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. The EVP champions a cohesive global operations framework, aims to enhance resource allocation efficiency across regions, and strives to improve operational efficacy, profitability, and client satisfaction. The role is vital in ensuring consistent, stable, and sustainable growth for the company's worldwide activities, fostering long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and implement global operational strategies that align with corporate goals and growth objectives.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks and standardized processes for global operations management.
• Optimize organizational execution and operational capabilities through improved global operating models.
• Develop long-term operational plans supporting worldwide expansion initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of global business operations, including regional and manufacturing operations, project management, and service delivery.
• Monitor and enhance operational performance, ensuring seamless collaboration across diverse regions.
• Manage operational expenses while boosting profitability and resource utilization.
• Implement uniform global operational standards and best practices.
• Lead the global supply chain encompassing planning, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and delivery optimization.
• Maintain supply chain resilience and efficiency by developing strategic sourcing and supplier management systems.
• Ensure timely, superior-quality product and service delivery.
• Champion Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement programs to uplift production efficiency, product quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Deploy operational performance management tools with defined KPIs.
• Encourage digital transformation initiatives including automation and intelligent operations management.
• Oversee major project execution worldwide and manage resources including personnel, capital, equipment, and technology to maximize project outcomes.
• Enhance cross-regional collaboration for effective project delivery.
• Administer global operational budgets and capital expenditures prudently.
• Set up comprehensive risk management and business continuity systems globally.
• Supervise quality management to ensure adherence to international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Verify compliance with all local and global regulatory, legal, and governance obligations.
• Implement Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS/ESG) frameworks.
• Drive digital platforms deployment such as ERP, MES, SCM, and CRM, incorporating advanced technologies like AI, Big Data, IoT, and RPA to boost operational intelligence and automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with CEO, Sales, Product, R&D, Finance, HR, and Customer Success teams to advance global operations synergies.
• Develop and maintain a worldwide network of partners and suppliers; support mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead talent development and establish a high-performance, innovative, and continuously improving global operations culture.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related fields.
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA, EMBA, or relevant Master's are preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or project management sectors.
• At least 10 years in senior leadership positions, including roles like Head of Global Operations, COO, or VP of Operations.
• Prior experience managing global operations within large multinational corporations and leading international, cross-regional teams is desirable.
