Execution Trader

About the Role

An established Asian investment firm in Singapore is seeking an Execution Trader to strengthen their trading team. This position involves direct engagement with equity and related securities to improve trade execution performance while working closely with portfolio managers and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out trades involving equities and equity-linked instruments, while continually assessing market conditions, liquidity, and news to optimize execution and reduce market impact.
• Collaborate extensively with Portfolio Managers to deliver market insights, liquidity perspectives, and execution guidance.
• Evaluate the quality of trade executions, monitor associated transaction costs, and analyze overall trading outcomes.
• Ensure all trades are promptly captured, allocated, reconciled, and accurately reported.
• Work alongside Operations, Risk, and Compliance departments to uphold all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 8 to 10 years of relevant experience within trading or closely related sectors.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Exhibit strong numerical and analytical capabilities along with meticulous attention to detail.
• Have proficiency in Excel; experience or knowledge of programming or data analysis tools is considered a plus.
