Softworker AI is developing an integrated workspace where human teams and autonomous AI agents collaborate seamlessly with shared context, permissions, approvals, and governance. We have completed the prototype and aim to release the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 3-4 weeks. Our founding team currently includes two co-founders leading engineering and product, respectively, and we are engaged in design-partner outreach.

Opportunity

We are seeking an Entrepreneur-in-Residence who could evolve into our Business and Go-To-Market (GTM) Co-Founder. This individual will be instrumental in transforming Softworker AI into a market-defining company.

Candidate Profile

• Graduating in 2025 or 2026, preferably with a degree in Engineering or Management.
• Experience building or founding an AI-related company or product.
• Availability for full-time involvement without concurrent jobs, studies, or startups.
• A desire to collaborate with a complementary founding team.
• Competence in managing fundraising, customer discovery, GTM strategies, sales, and partnerships.
• Ambition, resourcefulness, knowledge of AI, and readiness to start from the ground up.

Important Terms

• Full-time commitment is mandatory.
• No salary will be offered until funding is secured; initial involvement is equity-based.
• Willingness to travel to Rourkela, India, for a two-week collaboration with the team.
• Travel and accommodation details will be arranged with eligible candidates prior to the working sprint.

Core Responsibilities

• Leading fundraising initiatives and investor communications.
• Conducting customer discovery and managing design-partner relationships.
• Selecting initial target markets and positioning the product strategically.
• Overseeing GTM, sales efforts, and partnership development.
• Incorporating customer feedback into product development directions.

Selection Process

The recruitment comprises seven structured rounds:

• Application & Video Submission: Provide CV, LinkedIn profile, references, project details, and a personal video introducing yourself beyond your résumé.
• Written Assessment: Complete an extensive essay-style evaluation covering values, ambition, decision-making, resilience, financial goals, and founder preparedness.
• Pitch Deck Assignment: Create a concise pitch deck reflecting your understanding of our product, market, and competitive positioning.
• Online Pitch and Culture-Fit Interview: Present the pitch deck and discuss your written responses focusing on communication, resilience, and alignment.
• Founder-Alignment Discussion: Transparent conversation on vision, roles, commitment, equity, financial expectations, and future plans.
• Two-Week Immersion in Rourkela: Work directly with the team on core activities including customer discovery and fundraising; travel arrangements discussed beforehand.
• Mutual Founder Decision: Final evaluation from all parties to confirm co-founder fit and formalize commitments.
