Job Overview
Join Watad Group as an Enterprise / Integration Architect specializing in API Gateway and integration platforms, based in Doha, Qatar. This role requires expertise of 8 or more years in designing and managing enterprise API and integration architectures. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of API Gateway solutions including OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication, rate limiting, version management, TLS 1.3 security, and developer portal management.
- Create the architecture for enterprise integration middleware, focusing on iPaaS, interoperability, and event streaming technologies.
- Establish the comprehensive service and API catalogue, setting integration standards across approximately 86 systems.
- Oversee governance of cross-domain data flows and ensure robust API security practices.
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 8 years’ experience in enterprise and integration architecture, particularly with API platforms.
- Practical experience delivering solutions using API Gateways and iPaaS platforms.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, microservices architectures, and event-driven design.
- Expertise in security-by-design principles and considerations regarding data sovereignty.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in airport platform integrations or Airport Operational Systems (AOS) is a plus.
