Company and Location

This position is based primarily in Chesham and High Wycombe offices, with expectations to visit these locations a few times monthly for meetings, one-on-ones, and team gatherings. The role involves extensive travel across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and adjacent counties.

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Electricians to join our expanding Compliance Testing team. This mobile role focuses on maintaining and ensuring electrical safety compliance within a portfolio of properties managed by SettleParadigm, which oversees over 30,000 homes in the region. Providing a company vehicle and fuel card, the role supports delivering safe, compliant homes while working within a values-driven and socially minded organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Carry out installations, servicing, repairs, and partial rewires in domestic homes.
• Conduct annual emergency lighting tests and other compliance-related duties.
• Strive for first-time fix solutions minimizing disruption to residents.
• Maintain precise records and documentation related to jobs.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Professionally represent the company during resident interactions.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven background in domestic electrical installations, inspections, fault diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
• Sound knowledge of building regulations, construction principles, and health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication abilities with both customers and colleagues.
• Possession of a valid UK manual driving license.
• Required certifications include City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition qualification, City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, and at least one year of experience in inspection and testing.
