About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects highly skilled creative and technical professionals with leading AI research labs. The organization is headquartered in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
The position is for a Keystone Education Expert working remotely on a contract basis. The work is estimated at 15 to 20 hours per week, with compensation set at $45 to $55 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Create tasks that assess how well AI can understand engineering documentation.
- Build detailed, multi-step prompts using realistic workspace files.
- Review AI-generated responses using clear, objective scoring criteria.
- Check that model outputs are accurate, organized, and precise.
- Operate independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines.
Required Background
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: curriculum and instructional design, academic research, or teaching and training.
