Job Overview

This full-time seasonal position is based in Drayton Valley and surrounding areas. Candidates must be capable of commuting daily to the site. The role requires physical endurance and flexibility with scheduling.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Work schedule includes 10+ hours per day, 6 days on and 1 day off.
• Overtime is applicable after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dozers and excavators safely to perform stripping, ditching, sloping, and leveling tasks.
• Manage equipment operation in close proximity to ground personnel and other machinery.
• Adhere strictly to the company safety program and promote a safety-first culture among employees, subcontractors, and consultants.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a reliable personal vehicle for commuting.
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots with 6-inch ankle support are mandatory.
• Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test (swab-based) prior to employment.
• Completion of company orientation and site-specific orientation sessions.
• Three to five years of experience operating dozers and excavators, with a demonstrated ability in finishing tasks such as sloping and leveling.
• Dependable, hardworking, and flexible to physical and scheduling demands.
