Overview
The Document Scanning Clerk role involves hands-on production tasks such as preparing documents, scanning them, and entering data accurately. This position entails adhering strictly to prescribed procedures to ensure that output meets both quantity and quality standards while maintaining safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare documents by straightening pages, removing staples and bindings, cutting or taping to ready them for scanning.
- Conform to established workflow processes to maximize productivity and preserve the integrity of subsequent steps.
- Stay updated with trainings and procedural updates to perform tasks as required.
- Achieve specified output goals as directed by the team supervisor or lead.
- Maintain functionality and proper operation of scanning and related equipment throughout shifts.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be able to travel to the Norwood, MA location and work full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience; prior related experience or training of up to three months is acceptable.
- Capability to understand and follow simple written instructions and memos.
- Commitment to safety, including use of personal protective equipment and responsible reporting of hazards.
- Preference given to applicants with prior experience in document processing or scanning.
Physical Demands
- Capable of lifting and carrying boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to remain seated or standing for long durations as job tasks require.
- Frequent repetitive movements involving hands, wrists, and fingers.

Compensation & Benefits
