About the role
Collen Construction is looking for a Document Controller to support the SHEQ function within its Greater Dublin operations. The company places strong emphasis on inclusion, teamwork, and making safety a core value across every part of the project environment.
This position reports to the QA/QC Manager and suits someone who can manage project records accurately, support quality processes, and communicate professionally with internal teams. The role also contributes to maintaining high standards in document handling, regulatory compliance, and workplace wellbeing.
What you will do
- Oversee document control activities for the SHEQ team.
- Organise, store, archive, and retrieve project documents efficiently.
- Keep document registers accurate and continuously updated.
- Contribute to document management procedures and stay informed on current industry practices.
- Handle project documentation in line with requirements, including drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
- Compile documents and reports for the SHEQ team.
- Support the delivery of the quality assurance programme.
- Assist with regulatory audits and quality control checks when needed.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business.
- Carry out administrative duties to help the wider team.
- Help uphold Collen SHEQ standards.
- Support and promote the company’s core values and a positive culture focused on wellbeing at work.
- Manage internal and external communication in a professional, discreet manner.
Requirements
- A third-level qualification in a business-related or construction-related discipline is preferred, though not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar document control position.
- Hands-on experience with a document control or file-sharing platform.
- Working knowledge of construction-related documentation.
- Strong IT and organisational capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a high-performing team environment.
- Strong command of English.
