Director of Operations

Overview

The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais, a 5-star superior establishment in Dresden, along with Bülow Residenz, is seeking an energetic and driven Director of Operations to join their senior leadership team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the operational performance of both the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage departments, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional guest experiences and guiding future hotel development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure high standards.
• Mentor and develop department heads and their teams to foster growth and excellence.
• Maintain superior guest satisfaction levels and service quality consistently.
• Enhance operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track and analyze productivity metrics and key performance indicators.
• Work closely with Revenue, Sales & Marketing, and Finance teams to align operational goals.
• Serve as the deputy to the General Manager, supporting strategic plans and initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven leadership experience within luxury or upscale hospitality environments.
• Deep expertise in Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with comprehensive operational insight.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and grow high-performing teams.
• Fluency in both German and English languages.
• Willingness to relocate to Dresden.
