Development Engineer – Aircraft Technical Support

Role overview

This position is for an experienced Development Engineer focused on aircraft technical support. The role centers on helping maintain aircraft maintenance programmes, managing technical documentation, handling configuration control, and contributing to continuing airworthiness work while meeting aviation regulatory and manufacturer standards.

Core responsibilities

• Provide engineering assistance for aircraft maintenance programmes and continuing airworthiness tasks.
• Prepare, examine, and update engineering documentation, engineering orders, and technical records.
• Support engineering change management and configuration control activities.
• Assess aircraft manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and related engineering publications.
• Make sure work aligns with EASA, ICAO, and aircraft manufacturer requirements.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve aircraft reliability and readiness for operation.
• Contribute to engineering work in Systems, Avionics, or Cabin Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Aircraft Technical Support, Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO), or Aircraft Engineering Services.
• Practical experience in Systems, Avionics, or Cabin Engineering in a commercial aviation setting.
• Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance programmes, engineering documentation, and technical records.
• Working knowledge of EASA, ICAO, and aircraft manufacturer standards.
• Experience with the Airbus A320 Family or a similar commercial aircraft is strongly preferred.
• Good analytical ability, problem-solving approach, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
