Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to company driving standards.
• Navigate within assigned delivery zones, including challenging environments such as multi-story buildings.
• Manage preparation of orders, inventory tracking, and equipment operation within store premises.
• Receive, process telephone and in-person orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace regularly.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Ability to read maps and use navigation tools effectively.
• Basic numerical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication skills for taking orders and interacting with customers and team members.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and climb as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions while performing outdoor tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from cool (around 36°F) up to hot zones exceeding 90°F.
• Working around food odors, dust such as cornmeal, and hot equipment.
• Tasks performed in confined spaces including walk-in coolers.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, sitting as required by task.
• Lifting cases up to 50 pounds and carrying ingredient cans and trays during shifts.
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies requiring moderate effort.
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
