Role overview
Domino’s in Wynne, AR is hiring delivery drivers to join the store team. The role is available immediately, with both short and long shifts offered so you can choose what fits your schedule best. Full-time and part-time hours are available.
Pay and payout details
Drivers generally earn more than $20 per hour when wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement are combined. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid every day, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday.
Key duties
The job centers on delivering pizzas and related items safely and efficiently within the assigned delivery zone. Drivers also support accurate and timely service using the store’s delivery technology and may handle several deliveries during one shift.
Vehicle options
You may use your own car and receive adjustable mileage reimbursement to help offset fuel and other vehicle costs. Alternatively, company vehicles may be available for deliveries if you meet the vehicle-use conditions.
Vehicle-use conditions
To drive a company vehicle, you must be at least 21 years old, have at least 2 years of driving history, and maintain a clean driving record. A safe driving history is essential for the role overall.
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a safe driving record that can be reviewed through a motor vehicle report. A reliable vehicle, valid insurance, strong map-reading and navigation skills, and the ability to find addresses in the delivery area are also required.
The role calls for the ability to handle stairs and difficult terrain, work independently and with others, follow instructions, manage repetitive tasks, stay composed under pressure, meet quality standards, deliver strong customer service, and make sound decisions.
Working conditions
Drivers may work in changing and sometimes harsh weather while delivering orders or distributing flyers and door hangers. Inside the store, temperatures can range from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some areas. The work environment may include food fumes, cornmeal dust, compact spaces such as a walk-in cooler, hot equipment and oven surfaces reaching 500 degrees or more, as well as sharp edges and moving parts.
Physical demands
This position includes walking, carrying, climbing, driving, stooping, bending, reaching, frequent hand use, and strong sensory awareness. Drivers may need to move between the store, the vehicle, and customer locations, and some deliveries may require climbing 5 or more flights of stairs.
Bending and reaching are needed in store tasks such as assembly, stocking, cleaning, operating ovens, answering phones, and handling supplies. Manual tasks include shaping dough, using a pizza peel and cutter, and assembling boxes. Hearing, talking, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and night/far vision are important for both store work and driving.
Growth and culture
Domino’s emphasizes flexibility, opportunity, and inclusion. The role can open the door to promotional paths such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, General Manager, and more. The company also highlights a culture that values different backgrounds and helps team members reach their potential.
Franchise notice
This opening is with an independently owned and operated franchise store. Employment decisions, including hiring, pay, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are handled by the franchisee and not by Domino’s corporate entity.
Additional information
Domino’s says it focuses on honesty, transparency, accountability, and a safe, stable work environment. The brand also notes that many of its store owners began their careers as delivery drivers or pizza makers.
