Job Overview
This full-time Deli Assistant role based in Ardnacrusha, County Clare, involves preparing high-standard hot and cold deli products while prioritizing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the Centra brand values by demonstrating pride, energy, creativity, and community spirit in daily activities.
- Prepare customer orders in various fresh food sections, including assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats according to precise portion controls.
- Cook, prepare, and present food items available throughout the business day.
- Maintain the deli counter and fresh food displays to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards continuously during operating hours.
- Share your enthusiasm for quality food by offering customers knowledge, recipes, and personal suggestions.
- Handle all customer inquiries professionally, efficiently, and complying with store policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Having HACCP food safety training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a busy environment while managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- A genuine passion for food and desire to engage and inspire customers.
