About the Role

We are inviting motivated individuals to join our team as a Decontamination Supervisor within the Endoscopy Unit based at the Grange University Hospital in Cwmbrân. This position involves supporting managerial staff in daily operational activities and leading a team to ensure customer needs are met along with overseeing performance reviews and training of team members.

Work Schedule

The role requires working hours from 14:00 to 22:00 on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise junior staff to ensure adherence to competence standards.
  • Train team members on proper cleaning procedures for new and reusable medical equipment.
  • Communicate daily with colleagues and service users to maintain smooth operations.
  • Report operational issues beyond the supervisor’s expertise to management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Standard computer skills to manage and oversee tracking systems for sterile services and endoscopy decontamination.
  • Qualification in English language.
