Role Overview

We seek a diligent and dependable Day Porter to oversee cleanliness and orderliness at our client’s facility. This role involves maintaining common spaces, promptly addressing guest inquiries, and adhering to all safety regulations. Candidates with prior janitorial or custodial experience who can work independently or collaboratively are ideal.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned building sections including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, and ceiling vent cleaning.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners while cleaning the containers as necessary.
• Conduct and log routine inspections of assigned areas.
• Restock and organize supply storage closets.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
• Follow company policies and site appearance standards.
• Complete all designated tasks promptly and efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues or deficiencies to management.
• Complete additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Preferred previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to operate independently with little supervision.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (E-Verify is used).
