Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Credit & Lending Data Engineer to join our expanding team as we build a pioneering debt infrastructure platform. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying reliable, scalable data pipelines to manage and transform data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop databases, data lakes, and ingestion pipelines to connect external customer databases and datasets with Cascade's systems.
  • Ingest financial data from external customers and maintain precise data mappings to ensure high data quality for our products.
  • Set up monitoring and alert systems across data pipelines to guarantee data ingestion reliability and accuracy.
  • Translate business objectives and stakeholder needs into new data flows, producing analytical insights that deliver continuous value.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Over 3 years of experience working as a data engineer specifically with credit or lending data.
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Bigtable, etc.
