About the Role
As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience in retail while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Walmart's core values. This position involves maintaining and organizing the Dairy/Frozen department, supporting product stocking, and facilitating sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and zone the Dairy/Frozen department to maintain an orderly presentation.
- Rotate stock regularly and inspect for expired products to ensure freshness.
- Confirm that all merchandise is correctly labeled and priced according to store standards.
- Comply with cold chain protocols including thermometer calibration, temperature recording, and food handling policies.
- Implement proper food safety and sanitation practices consistent with company procedures.
- Follow established guidelines for ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and signage updates.
- Maintain promotional features to enhance product visibility.
- Keep the area clean, tidy, and free of unnecessary debris or hazards to ensure customer safety.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.75 CAD.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
