This position is part of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) team, playing a pivotal role in making the financial system more secure and less vulnerable to criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply Kiwibank’s AML and Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies to daily operations.
• Provide operational support and expert guidance to maintain compliance with the AML/CFT Act.
• Conduct investigative research and analysis on straightforward to intricate high-risk onboarding cases, delivering precise and well-informed outcomes.
• Assess and interpret documentation related to corporate entities and trusts to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in AML or comparable compliance environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail combined with a passion for investigative tasks.
• Sound knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
• Capability to comprehend and interpret relevant regulations including the AML/CFT Act, regulator guidance, and internal bank policies.
