General Role Overview
The Customer Service Representative welcomes and assists visitors at the recreation center, manages the registration process for various programs and activities, and supports building supervision duties as required.
Supervision Structure
This position reports to the Lead Customer Service Representative and Recreation Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests entering the recreation center.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including balancing cash drawers accurately.
- Process registrations for programs, memberships, merchandise sales, rentals, tot room registrations, and park pavilion reservations using designated software.
- Answer and address incoming phone inquiries to the recreation center.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Proficiency in computer use is required.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
