Customer Service and Warehouse Operator

Role Overview

Join Hynds Pipe Systems Limited in Naenae as a dedicated team member combining customer service, sales assistance, and warehouse duties. This role suits individuals who enjoy working closely with customers and have attention to detail in handling multiple operational tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture strong connections with customers through expert product knowledge, guidance, and dependable service.
• Manage and process customer orders completely utilizing the company ERP system (M3).
• Monitor incoming deliveries by verifying, receiving, and storing inventory correctly.
• Select, package, and dispatch orders ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate.
• Carry out daily administrative functions such as invoicing, credit processing, quotation preparation, and inventory documentation.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and actively engage in inventory audits including stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Operate a forklift to handle product movement safely around the premises.
• Ensure the branch and yard areas remain orderly, clean, and presentable.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols while supporting team members.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication abilities combined with a cooperative, team-oriented mindset.
• Efficient multitasking and accuracy under work pressure.
• Proficient computer skills, especially with Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Must hold a valid New Zealand Class 1 driver licence including forklift endorsement (F).
• Previous exposure to the water industry or relevant product knowledge is beneficial.
• Physical capability to manage tasks involving heavy lifting.
• Availability to assist with occasional after-hours emergency call-outs.
