Role overview
Qatar Aviation Services is hiring a Customer Experience Agent for buggy operations at Hamad International Airport in Doha. The position sits within the Cargo & Airport Operations job family and focuses on delivering attentive, high-quality passenger support while operating buggy shuttle services.
What you will do
- Operate the MATAR buggy cart inside the passenger terminal at Hamad International Airport.
- Assist passengers using MATAR shuttle services and handle them in a courteous, caring, and service-focused manner.
- Support customers with questions and guidance related to MATAR shuttle operations and airport facilities.
- Follow departmental SOPs and airport regulations, while consistently meeting the service standards required for ISO compliance and MATAR service KPI commitments.
- Report on time according to the roster and maintain uniform and grooming standards at all times.
- Work closely with QAS and MATAR teams to support smooth daily operations.
- Escalate customer discomfort, complaints, and any anticipated issues to the shift supervisor without delay.
- Report any unsafe, illegal, or corrupt activity noticed to the shift supervisor or line management.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures when operating equipment within the airport environment and maintain a customer-first approach throughout the shift.
Requirements
- High school qualification plus at least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the service industry.
- Airport experience is beneficial, though not mandatory.
- Valid light vehicle driving licence from the candidate’s home country.
