About The Role
Mercor connects top-tier creative and technical professionals with pioneering AI research labs. Based in San Francisco, our investors include prominent figures such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
This contract position offers a fully remote work setup, providing an opportunity to engage as a Generalist Expert with competitive pay.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated answers to guarantee their correctness and depth of reasoning.
- Deliver organized written critiques aimed at enhancing AI model outputs.
- Detect subtle meanings, underlying implications, and reasoning gaps in AI-produced content.
- Produce clear, concise, and well-substantiated explanations that go beyond superficial remarks.
- Operate independently while adhering to deadlines to contribute toward improving AI system performance.
Qualifications
- Possession of a bachelor's degree, preferably from a globally top 500 ranked institution.
- Excellent analytical thinking paired with strong written communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously following comprehensive task instructions.
- Advanced critical reading proficiency.
- Fluency in native-level English is mandatory.
