Role Overview
The candidate will engage in detailed sheet metal design tasks, leveraging advanced 3D CAD capabilities and implementing manufacturing principles to optimize design for production.
Responsibilities
- Develop sheet metal components using Creo 10 with a focus on design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards in designs to ensure clarity and precision.
- Generate and interpret welding drawings and drafting standards adhering to quality protocols.
- Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools effectively for design version control and data management.
- Contribute to design for manufacturing (DFM) efforts to streamline production.
- Collaborate within teams to support automotive or emission industry projects.
Candidate Profile
- Professional experience ranging from 2 to 4 years in sheet metal design, specifically using Creo 10.
- Excellent grasp of GD&T principles, welding documentation, and drafting standards.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and 3D modeling techniques.
- Background or experience in the automotive or emission sectors is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from any specialization.
