About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Creative Director to join a renowned experiential agency known for its meticulous attention to every client touchpoint, not just the headline moments. This is a genuine growth position, created in response to steady account acquisition and expansion, allowing you to engage both longstanding accounts and fresh business pitches.
The agency boasts an impressive portfolio with global recognition, serving high-profile clients across fashion, sportswear, major sporting events, and premium beverage brands. The creative environment emphasizes a comprehensive guest experience, focusing on every detail that makes each activation impactful.
Responsibilities
- Provide creative leadership across the agency, managing projects from initial brief to final delivery while setting high standards for the creative team.
- Critically evaluate project briefs before commencing concept development to ensure strong strategic foundations.
- Challenge clients tactfully when necessary to refine their vision and strategic direction.
- Defend creative concepts based on strategic rationale, beyond just visual appeal.
- Lead client pitches and presentations aimed at senior stakeholders to secure new business opportunities.
- Mentor and guide creative team members including art directors, designers, and producers as they advance in their careers.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or Senior Art Director within the events or experiential marketing sector.
- Experience leading both large-scale event productions and intricate, detail-oriented brand activations.
- Proven ability in delivering compelling pitches and new-business presentations.
- Skilled in managing and nurturing creative teams.
Additional Information
- Work location is based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements possible.
- Salary range: $150,000 to $170,000 plus superannuation.
