Job Overview
This role involves providing courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of parcels along an assigned route, ensuring all shipments comply with company service standards, and performing related customer service tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely and responsibly pick up and deliver packages on designated routes.
- Verify shipments adhere to company standards and handle customer interactions professionally.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months).
- Capability to lift weights up to 70 lbs manually and manage packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment.
- Preferred one year experience in a customer-focused business environment.
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training and ability to meet minimum thresholds on related tests.
- Familiarity with company operations and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service aptitude and resilience under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and handle stress effectively.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and holidays as business needs dictate.
- If residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
Additional Information
- This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, starting at 10:00 am.
- Role requires proficiency in PC Windows environments and completion of annual training and certifications.
