About the Role
ERSG Ltd is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the management of utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects throughout Ireland. This contract position initially spans 12 months, with strong prospects for renewal. You will collaborate with project delivery and commercial teams to ensure contracts are administered effectively, commercial risks are managed, and that large infrastructure projects proceed smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrate and manage commercial delivery of EPC contracts across multiple renewable energy projects.
- Contribute to the negotiation and execution of EPC contracts, subcontract agreements, and related commercial documentation.
- Advise project teams on contractual duties, commercial risks, and entitlements.
- Lead handling of contractual notices, variations, claims, and compensation events.
- Guarantee adherence to contractual terms throughout all project phases.
- Identify and reduce commercial and contractual risks.
- Support processes for dispute prevention and resolution as needed.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Maintain precise contractual records and relevant documentation.
- Deliver practical commercial support during the entire project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record as a Contracts Manager in renewable energy, infrastructure, or significant construction projects.
- Experience specifically in utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects within Ireland.
- Solid understanding of EPC contract frameworks and project execution.
- Expertise in managing FIDIC, NEC, or equivalent construction contracts.
- Demonstrated ability in handling claims, contract variations, and commercial risk.
- Strong negotiation prowess and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Capable of working autonomously in dynamic project settings.
- Fluent in English.
- Full legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
