Primary duties

Move construction materials by loading, unloading, and transporting them around the site.
Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
Prepare and place materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Support drilling and blasting activities on construction projects.
Bring earthworks to the required grade level.
Help with building demolition.
Handle clean-up after chemical spills and other site contaminants.
Clear rubble and construction debris from the work area.
Operate or supply construction machinery and equipment.
Control traffic near or within construction zones.
