Role Overview

This is a founding leadership position as Technical Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with equity ownership. The role focuses on establishing visionary technology direction, engineering culture, and the AI roadmap, collaborating closely with the Founder & CEO to build Capabilio into a globally impactful technology enterprise. Compensation is equity-based initially, with salary to follow after securing funding or achieving sustainable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and communicate the long-term technological vision for Capabilio.
• Architect scalable, secure, and cloud-native SaaS systems.
• Lead engineering efforts from minimum viable product (MVP) to worldwide scalability.
• Create and enforce standards in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security protocols.
• Develop cutting-edge AI functionalities including large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, skill intelligence models, and AI-powered interview evaluation.
• Convert business objectives into scalable technical solutions, iterating rapidly based on user feedback balancing speed, quality, and sustainable architecture.
• Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performing engineering team and culture emphasizing ownership and innovation.
• Engage in company strategy, fundraising activities, business planning, investor relations, and key partnerships as a co-founder.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for company building beyond coding.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity and rapid change.
• Experience or keen interest in AI, machine learning, and associated technologies including large language models, agentic AI, recommendation systems, and natural language processing.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, vector databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI frameworks and tools like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini is advantageous.

Compensation & Location

This role is equity-based initially, with a fixed salary to be implemented after securing investment or reaching sustainable revenue milestones. The position is located in Vijayawada, India, with flexible hybrid/remote working arrangements.
