Cloud Engineering Trainer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Trainer with over 5 years of practical experience in cloud-related roles including engineering, architecture, or support. In this part-time remote role, you will lead engaging live training sessions scheduled for 2 hours every day from Monday to Friday starting 27 July 2026. You will design and deliver project-driven curricula covering foundation to advanced topics, conduct practical labs, oversee student assignments and projects, provide constructive feedback, and mentor the learners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live online classes focused on Cloud Engineering concepts and practical skills.
• Facilitate hands-on labs, assignments, capstone projects, and real case studies to reinforce learning.
• Assess student work and provide detailed feedback to aid progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or related fields.
• Proficiency in core cloud architectures on major platforms like AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and implementation of security guardrails.
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and FinOps fundamentals.
• Expertise in cloud migration techniques.
• Automation and CI/CD practices relevant to cloud deployments.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages, preferably Python or Bash.
• Proven ability to design or support production-grade cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities with a knack for simplifying complex topics.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or corporate training is advantageous.

Selection Procedure

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to conduct a one-hour technical demonstration to evaluate their expertise, teaching technique, and ability to engage students.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior training experience.

This role anticipates a part-time schedule, entirely remote, with a clear start date and structured training timetable. The position caters mainly to candidates with solid cloud computing backgrounds who can deliver curriculum tailored to the US market.
