Role Overview
As a Clinical Research Associate I at ICON Strategic Solutions in San Diego, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trial operations. The position involves close collaboration with the clinical team to ensure the delivery of superior outcomes in clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently managing and coordinating all operational activities necessary for study setup and monitoring.
- Producing accurate study status reports and maintaining thorough study documentation.
- Efficiently handling sponsor-generated queries and managing study costs responsibly.
- Contributing to the preparation and review of study-related documentation and feasibility assessments for new project proposals when needed.
- Building and nurturing strong professional relationships with stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site personnel.
- Safeguarding patient safety by adhering strictly to ICON's protocols, procedures, and regulatory demands.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a university degree in medicine, science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and the ability to analyze and assess medical information accurately.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills to address queries promptly and effectively.
- Availability to undertake travel commitments estimated between 60% and 75% as necessary.
