Client Support Specialist - Physical Therapist

Role Overview

This part-time role as a Physical Therapist at SAMU 31 is based in Singapore and combines on-site and remote working. The therapist will evaluate patients’ functional abilities, formulate personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy both in clinical settings and during home visits.

Key responsibilities include performing therapeutic exercises, applying manual therapy, conducting rehabilitation programs, monitoring patient progress, and documenting clinical information accurately. Collaboration with physicians and other health professionals is essential to improve patient outcomes. Educating patients and caregivers on exercise routines, injury prevention, and safe mobility practices is also a core part of the role. All work must comply with professional, ethical, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid grounding in physical therapy and rehabilitation with the competence to design customized treatment plans.
• Proven abilities in patient and home care, requiring empathy, effective communication, and safe treatment delivery at patients’ homes.
• Basic medical knowledge relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions commonly treated by physical therapists.
• Possession or eligibility to obtain a professional physical therapist license or registration in Singapore.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or an accredited equivalent qualification.
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community rehabilitation environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to work independently within a hybrid work structure, managing time well and adjusting to varying patient needs.
• Competency in clinical record maintenance, electronic health system usage, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
