The Opportunity

Millennium Services Group is looking for dependable and enthusiastic cleaners to join the Rangiora team in a supermarket environment. This part-time role suits someone who works well in a busy setting, takes pride in attention to detail, and enjoys keeping spaces clean and inviting.

Work schedule: Tuesday to Thursday, 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM

Pay: $26 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Clean upholstered or furnished surfaces as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean toilets and restrooms.
• Collect and remove rubbish.
• Clean internal and external glass surfaces.
• Dust hard surfaces thoroughly.

About You

• Previous cleaning experience, especially in a commercial setting, will be an advantage.
• Experience in detailed and thorough cleaning is preferred.
• You should be comfortable working in a supermarket environment.
• A reliable vehicle and a full valid driver’s licence are required.
• You should be able to work effectively in a team.
• You must be capable of following instructions and also working independently.
• Strong attention to detail is important.
• Good customer service skills are expected.
• You need to be dependable and punctual.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety standards is required.
• You must be willing to work flexible hours and public holidays when needed.
• Experience using floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older due to company health and safety policies.
• All training and health and safety communication is provided in English, so strong spoken and written English is necessary.
• You must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
