Overview

Become a vital member of Royal Mail's Property & Facilities Solutions team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across one of Europe's largest property portfolios. This permanent position offers competitive pay at £13.85 per hour and involves working 37.5 hours a week.

Location and Schedule

Based at London Central MC, Mount Pleasant Mc, London, EC1A 1BB, with scheduled working hours either Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and cleaning internal postal frames.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning toilets, floors, stairwells, and office spaces.
• Efficiently empty bins and sanitize surfaces to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Manage extensive walking required due to the large building structure.
• Follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to work independently with good time management skills.
• Comfortable communicating with both customers and supervisors.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of manual cleaning and walking throughout the facility.
• Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; warehouse experience is also a plus.
• Willingness to learn through provided full training and induction.
