Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Structural/Civil Engineer to undertake remote contract work focused on evaluating AI applications in the field of technical drawing and construction document assessments. This hourly role offers flexible scheduling and continuous project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze AI system performance in interpreting technical drawings and construction documentation.
- Review blueprints, structural calculations, quantity takeoffs, and engineering specifications for accuracy.
- Evaluate outputs generated by AI to ensure engineering correctness and precision.
- Contribute to AI training efforts within structural and civil engineering processes.
- Provide well-structured feedback regarding technical and construction deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) specializing in structural or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and technical documents.
- Practical experience conducting quantity takeoffs and performing engineering document reviews.
- Strong analytical aptitude with careful attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Able to evaluate technical compliance and accuracy within engineering materials.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to work independently.
