Civil Engineer

Overview

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects including design, planning, supervision, and management. Projects encompass buildings, roads, bridges, drainage and water supply systems. The candidate will ensure work aligns with technical standards, safety, and environmental regulations while adhering to time and budget constraints.

Key Duties

• Create engineering designs, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
• Carry out site investigations, feasibility analyses, and technical evaluations.
• Develop cost approximations, Bills of Quantities, and scheduling plans.
• Oversee construction operations to verify conformity with project plans and quality benchmarks.
• Liaise effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients throughout project phases.
• Execute quality assurance procedures and troubleshoot engineering challenges.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
• Compile progress documentation and provide timely project reports.
• Manage financial planning and allocation of project resources.
• Utilize engineering design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent tools.
