Role Overview

Reporting to the CEO of the holding company, the appointed CEO will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all operations of Atlas Sign & Awning. This leadership position demands hands-on management of daily activities, optimizing production and project delivery, driving business development efforts, and cultivating a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including production, installation, and project execution.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality expectations.
• Enhance workflows, processes, and resource utilization to boost efficiency.
• Monitor performance metrics and initiate continuous improvement efforts.
• Encourage a sales-driven, growth-oriented company culture.
• Lead and support the project sales team to maintain a healthy sales pipeline and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain and build relationships with national clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Collaborate on proposals, pricing strategies, and closing significant deals.
• Discover new markets to support sustainable revenue growth across North America.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams across office, production, sales, and field departments.
• Promote a collaborative culture focused on teamwork and shared success.
• Align communication and execution across departments for seamless project delivery.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent to support organizational growth.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability objectives.
• Oversee full profit and loss responsibilities with financial partners.
• Track job costing, margin performance, and operational expenses.
• Participate in strategic planning and drive long-term business growth initiatives.
• Guide the company's vision and strategic direction by identifying opportunities and anticipating market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Operations Management or related fields is required.
• MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
• 5 to 7 years of senior management experience with proven success scaling organizations profitably through strategic business development, sales, and marketing.
• Established leadership record within a manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong strategic thinker skilled in innovation and implementation.
• Outstanding leadership qualities capable of engaging teams at all organizational levels.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and enforce accountability for results.
• Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing sales plans including budgeting and goal-setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between 200000 and 220000 CAD annually. Actual salary will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. The total compensation package also includes an annual bonus incentive, RRSP matching, vacation entitlements, and extended benefits.
