Role Overview

The Collaboration & Partnership team manages significant strategic relationships across the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to enhance the Temasek Trust network. This role seeks an individual motivated to develop new capabilities, drive impactful philanthropy, and facilitate cross-sector partnerships and collaborations.

In the role of Catalyst, Collaboration & Partnership, you will contribute to forming strategic partnerships that magnify the collective impact of the Temasek Trust ecosystem. This involves collaborating with internal teams and senior stakeholders to translate strategy into action and aligning diverse parties around shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research partnership approaches tailored to different partner profiles and objectives.
• Translate broad strategic concepts into actionable collaboration opportunities.
• Facilitate discussions that foster mutual understanding and align partners on common goals.
• Support senior management in engagements and partnership facilitation.
• Build trust and nurture ongoing strategic relationships, while scouting for new partnership prospects.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams to support partnership initiatives and joint plans.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, and business plans with partners.
• Contribute to the execution and evaluation of strategic collaborations, ensuring alignment with shared goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience with strong expertise in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sustainability and philanthropy sectors.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in economics, environmental studies, or related fields.
• Strategic thinker capable of structuring ambiguous situations and executing strategies effectively; consulting background is preferred.
• Proven ability in developing and maintaining trustful partnerships and identifying collaborative opportunities.
• Skilled at engaging and aligning senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Experienced in working across diverse organizations and comfortable with cultural diversity and adaptability.
• Familiarity with the social impact landscape involving foundations, NGOs, government, and multilateral sectors.
• Independent yet collaborative team player in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and persuasive abilities.
• Curious mindset, adaptable to uncertainty, and eager to learn from various contexts.
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia considered advantageous.
