CAD Support Specialist / CAD Application Support (m/w/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle support requests via a ticketing system, prioritizing queries based on urgency and impact, and ensure thorough follow-up.
• Assist users with questions and problems related to CAD systems, especially Autodesk products in a BIM context, primarily AutoCAD and Revit, with potential exposure to PTC Creo and MicroStation.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, developing appropriate solutions or consulting the team for complex cases.
• Document solutions clearly and maintain and expand the knowledge base.
• Prepare project and presentation materials for supervisors and business leadership.
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with users.
• Undergo a comprehensive 12-month onboarding comprising 6-9 months in the helpdesk focusing on CAD and support tickets and 6 months of CAD training alongside familiarization with different teams and locations.

Candidate Profile

• Completed technical vocational training or degree in IT, ideally with CAD, 2D/3D design, or terrain modelling relations.
• Solid expertise in AutoCAD and experience within a BIM environment.
• Strong motivation to deepen CAD knowledge and develop professionally.
• Structured, independent, and solution-focused working style.
• Enjoyment in helping colleagues, analyzing issues, and providing sustainable resolutions.
• Service-oriented mindset, patience, and adept communication skills.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
