Role Overview

Join the Architectural and Engineering team to take a leading role in creating and managing design drawings for new locations and remodeling projects, from inception through completion. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners such as Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), Architects of Record (AOR), and Space Planning consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D and 3D designs based on project leader instructions, converting sketches into digital CAD models.
Translate and revise designs while preparing necessary documentation and maintaining digital file management.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and internal colleagues to integrate feedback and align design concepts.
Update drawings and models as construction or manufacturing progresses to reflect changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and safeguard drawing archives.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related discipline; or at least five years of related work experience.
Competency in CAD applications such as Auto Revit, alongside solid drafting and engineering terminology knowledge.
High precision and attention to detail in technical drawing creation.
Effective communication skills to clearly convey technical information to team members and clients.
Innovative and analytical thinking capabilities to assist project teams during design processes.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, utilizing standard office technology and CAD software. The job demands may include extended hours to meet project timelines and continuous collaboration with multiple stakeholders during design and construction phases.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role is $50,000.
