Role Overview
We are searching for a senior leader to join a reputable facilities management and operations group as a Deputy Director. This key leadership position involves collaborating closely with the Business Unit (BU) Operations Director to oversee day-to-day operations across various projects and locations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, budget, and timeline, effectively managing risks.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect issues early and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Oversee budgeting, maintain cost control, and safeguard profit margins.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Lead, motivate, and grow high-performing operational teams.
- Promote adherence to quality, health, safety, environment (HSE), and compliance requirements at all sites.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a robust engineering foundation combined with extensive experience in facilities management and operations.
- Demonstrates proven leadership managing operational teams across multiple sites or projects.
- Exhibits commercial acumen, with a strong grasp of budgeting, cost control, and profitability drivers.
- Effective communicator capable of engaging confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Proactive problem solver who seeks resolutions rather than escalating issues.
