Business Execution Associate Manager

About the Role

Wells Fargo, a leading global financial services company with assets totaling $2.0 trillion and operations across 37+ countries, is seeking a Business Execution Associate Manager based in Hyderabad, India. This full-time role involves supervising transactional teams to ensure tasks are completed timely, maintain quality standards, and comply with business requirements. The role focuses on operational planning, integration, conflict resolution, and performance measurement to enhance workgroup operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team handling transactional processes ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop operational plans, integrate workflows, resolve bottlenecks, and assess routine and emerging operational aspects.
• Spot opportunities for business execution enhancements and offer guidance on strategies, operational activities, and financial oversight to optimize processes.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks within workgroups and functional units.
• Make daily supervisory decisions related to policies, system or process changes, business continuity, reporting, quality management, communication, and financial controls under management directives.
• Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and compliance standards relevant to the business.
• Collaborate closely with business execution peers and leadership to propose strategies for operational improvements.
• Engage with external stakeholders to influence and negotiate on strategic business operations.
• Manage allocation of human and financial resources for seamless business functioning.
• Mentor team members, support talent development, and participate in recruitment activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferably 10+ years of broad experience including various testing domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or related field with applicable work experience.
• Hands-on experience in web and mainframe testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in diverse and dynamic settings.
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects and strategic initiatives.
• Experience of 6+ years in leadership and people management roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge and 6+ years' experience in payment testing, investigations including wire transfers, ACH, real-time payments, and payment product testing.
• Advanced familiarity with payment-related products and applications such as ACH, Instant Payments, ACI Worldwide projects (MTS), Volante Products (VolPay/EPE, Message Gateway), SWIFT (MT messages, gateway, FIN, ISO), Straight Through Processing (STP), Risk Control System (RCS), RGW, and Dodd-Frank compliance.
• Experience using ACH and Instant Payments applications.
• Expertise in automation testing.
• Skilled in developing test plans and scripts, executing user acceptance testing, and managing defect resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both business and technical audiences.
• Ability to motivate teams to meet deadlines and manage priorities in high-pressure and complex environments.
• Capability to operate and influence outcomes within matrix organizational structures and forge strong business partnerships across levels.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Ideally, 8+ years of experience within the financial services industry.
