Position Summary
We seek a seasoned and sales-oriented Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for the Intrax Global Internships program. This role focuses on expanding our network of host organizations across the U.S. by seeking out and securing new employer partnerships supporting our J-1 Intern and Trainee programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic plans to grow the host organization network, meeting annual expansion goals.
- Maintain an active prospect pipeline via networking, referrals, outbound outreach, social media, events, and market analysis.
- Target employers whose workforce needs align with J-1 sponsorships, especially in STEM, business, marketing, hospitality, and related fields.
- Conduct lead qualification, discovery meetings, presentations, and consultative selling using phone, video, email, and in-person engagements.
- Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, partnership agreements, and responses to RFPs.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, from lead generation to onboarding host organizations.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements ensuring compliance with the J-1 program regulations.
- Leverage existing success stories and industry insights to enhance market presence.
- Collaborate across departments to support onboarding, retention, and program growth.
- Keep detailed CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and track sales activities.
- Participate in industry research and represent Intrax at conferences and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 to 5 years of successful B2B sales, business development, employer relations, staffing, recruiting, or account management experience.
- Proven capability in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Experience selling services or workforce solutions in consultative environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and sales tools.
- Self-directed, able to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Preferred: Network connections within STEM, business, marketing, hospitality, or tourism; familiarity with J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs; experience in performance-driven sales environments.

Compensation
The annual salary range is $90,000 to $100,000, with additional sales incentives varying by experience. This package is accompanied by comprehensive benefits.
